Join us for a fantastic evening in the company of former Man City and England defender Joleon Lescott at Edgeley Park on Friday 15th May. This special Man City themed event is being held in association with the Former Man City Players Association, with many expected to be in attendance.

A key figure in Manchester City’s rise to the top of English football, Joleon was part of the side that won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup, sharing the dressing room with some of the club’s modern greats including Vincent Kompany, Sergio Agüero, David Silva, Yaya Touré, Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Gareth Barry and James Milner. Over five seasons at the Etihad he made more than 150 appearances and played an important role in one of the most successful eras in the club’s history.

On the international stage, Joleon earned 26 England caps and was part of the Euro 2012 squad.

Since retiring from playing, Joleon has remained heavily involved in the game. He continues to work as a Manchester City ambassador and is a familiar face to fans through his television work as a football pundit on BT Sport. He is also part of the England coaching setup, having worked with the England Under-21s and contributing to the development of the next generation of international players.

Expect a relaxed and entertaining evening of stories from Joleon’s playing career, dressing-room insights, audience Q&A, and plenty of Manchester City nostalgia, along with the chance to see and meet a number of former players in attendance.

The evening will be hosted by Danny Jackson, well known to City fans as the presenter of City Square, and will also feature live entertainment from former Manchester City player and singer Jim Whitely and a live auction of bespoke memorabilia.
